It was a perfect match for a movie character to have an American muscle car. Since muscle cars represent power and toughness, it was one of the top reasons why Hollywood used various muscle cars. Here is list of top 10 muscle cars that are featured in movies.

The Shelby GT500 in 2000 remake of ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’ was actually a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. It was heavily customized to make it look like a GT500 by Steve Standford.
